Janelle Brown is a freelance journalist and essayist. Her writing appears regularly in Vogue, the New York TImes, Elle, the Los Angeles Times among other publications.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, filmmaker Greg Harrison. All We Ever Wanted Was Everything is her first novel.
